Cocaine, Amphetamine and Apraclonidine Pupil effects in Horner Syndrome

Apraclonidine

  • Will cause “reversal” of anisocoria in Horner syndrome
  • Dilation of the Horner pupil from apraclonidine binding to the Alpha-1 receptors that are up-regulated after 2-5 days
